Yelp Reviews for urban yoga life & fitness

I love Jaime’s style! You don’t have to worry about tons of esoteric allusions or untranslated Sanskrit—her dialogue is rooted in body mechanics, yet isn’t unapproachably academic. You will have an easy time following what she asks you to do, of course making it happen is part of the practice! I love that she keeps it real, urban yogi style, and isn’t afraid to crack a joke. You can expect to smile and laugh as you work and sweat! I really enjoy her sequencing as well. It’s based in the traditional but is still playful and interesting. Jaime does a great job of striking the balance between work and play, you will leave class feeling centered, refreshed, and lighter at heart.

We were completely new to yoga when we started with Jaime and we learned so much from her! She is HILARIOUS and she keeps her classes light and fun but also makes them challenging. She is very patient and kind with her adjustments. We really love Jaime's style and calming voice and we always feel great afterwards!

Jaime’s passion and energy always pours into everything that she does. Her passion helps the space she teaches in feel safe and secure. If there was ever a question that I had, I always felt comfortable to ask. She also helps each person understand the importance of every new pose with easy to understand steps on how to safely move your body to where it needs to be. Her bright energy helps get you excited to take her class and push you to the finish line. I highly recommend her class and cannot wait until I can schedule my next session with her.

Jaime works with my mother (75yrs old, hardly speaks English, pictured to the left). Twice a week in the course of 3 months, Jaime's instructions were vital to get her from walker (max 10 steps) to walking on her own again (just yesterday 2 miles). Increased strength and flexibility AND positive outlook (def bonus!) are the direct result of Jaime's hard work and cheerful nurturing.
